Paul Zeven

In  2008, Paul Zeven started his own business, called Paul Zeven Executive Coaching. He has coached over 10 clients, ranging from CEOs to managers who aspire to be executives. Paul provides coaching in awide range of areas, including: assessing leadership style, strengths and areas for improvement, enhancing people management and conflict resolution skills; helping executives develop their personal brand; coaching and guiding executives through career transitions; and exploring strategies for balancing work and personal life. He is currently based in France and has clients in Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the United States.

Paul is also an accredited coach for the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL). He presents and facilitates at many CL events, and he partners with them to develop leadership concepts for executive education. In addition, he is a coach for members of the World Economic Forums Global Leadership Fellows Program.

Prior to starting his executive coaching business, Paul had a 40-year career at Philips Electronics. During that time, he worked in Europe, North America, Latin America, and Asia in a variety of management and leadership positions, including President of Philips Taiwan, CEO of Philips Consumer ElectronicsLatin America, CEO of Philips North America, and CEO of the Consumer Lifestyle division for North America.

Paul's key areas of experience at Philips included: operational responsibility for diverse and new businesses; leading businesses from loss to profit; streamlining client portfolio and product scope; driving cross-business revenue opportunities; reorganizations, mergers and downsizing operations; outsourcing product lines; strengthening customer strategy and brand recognition; building a highly motivated workforce; and improving leadership quality through effective staffing and intensive coaching.

During his time with Philips in Taiwan, Paul served as Board Director for Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC). In addition, he was Chairman of the European Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan. He also served as a Board Director for the Netherlands-America Foundation for several years.

Paul graduated from Nyenrode School of Business in The Netherlands.
